Calculating Credit Scores
Learners will find out what determines their credit score, which factors do not affect it, and what actions can raise or lower it.

- Materials needed for the session.
- Follow-along facilitator instructions and speaking prompts.
- 1-3 discussion questions with sample answers in each section (6 total).
- Instructions for leading a partner activity where participants will practice their understanding of the factors that impact one’s credit score.
- A worksheet for participants to complete during the activity that features various real-life scenarios and asks them to explain in a table whether the individual's credit score will increase, decrease, or remain unaffected in each situation.
- 8 session summary discussion questions and an answer key for the instructor to summarize the key takeaways at the end of the session.
- An optional worksheet for the participants to answer wrap-up discussion questions in a written form.
